Going back to College has never been easier with the latest online College Counseling Center provided by the National Education Alliance.
November 10, 2010
Tampa Bay, FL (November 10, 2010) — The National Education Alliance is owned and operated by Universal Education Strategies and is an advocacy group for adult learners. They announced today the opening of the online College Counseling Center which is featured on their website www.NationalEducationAlliance.com. The launching of this online counseling center opens the doors for adult learners who wish to continue their education and achieve their degree for the least amount of money in the shortest time possible without sacrificing their commitment to family or their career.
The College Counseling Center allows potential college students access to a database of over 300 colleges and universities with one application. The program will search the online database to find the college or university that best fits their needs for the degree of their choice. The student receives three transcript evaluations from the top three schools that are the most cost effective and award the highest level transferrable credit from previous colleges; including, credit by examination, military service, certificates and on the job training. “Most college-bound students are using Google to search for choices in higher education, which limits them to the college or university with the largest marketing budget. The College Counseling Center levels the playing field for accredited colleges by providing them an opportunity to reach more students with their message. Students and employers can now save tuition dollars by filtering through the seemingly endless amount of information available on the Internet,” stated Shara Wright, President of the National Education Alliance.
The College Counseling Center also provides the student with the best available option to earn their degree in the least amount of time. Never before have students had the option to comparison shop institutions in a meaningful way. Which colleges will accept my twenty-year-old English Composition course? Who recognizes life experience as college credit? How many courses can I test out of? By answering these questions, individuals can make a truly informed decision about where they can attend college in the shortest amount of time and for the least amount of money. There is no guessing or research required; since the evaluation also outlines an exact list of courses the student can complete through credit by examination.
In honor of opening the College Counseling Center, the National Education Alliance is waiving their $95 annual Membership Fee until the end of the year. This allows students to take advantage of the National Education Alliance’s incredible products and services along with a discount on the Counseling Center. “We are very excited about the launch of this website, as most people spend up to $100 per college to receive a transcript evaluation. The College Counseling Center provides the student with the ability to mine the databases of 380 colleges, which averages less than $1 per college. The College Counseling Center also provides a counselor after the student chooses a college to assist in the creation of a customized degree plan,” said Josh Williams, Senior Vice President, of the National Education Alliance.
“If you know a working adult who is looking to go back to college and has some college credit and on the job training or prior military service, the College Counseling Center will provide them the best available options in minutes, saving them time and money by empowering them with information tailored to their exact situation,” added Williams.
